Our Story

This story begins in 2007/2008 at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines where the team met whilst training to become Royal Marines. Although joining at different stages, they were united in their love of sport, their competitive nature and their brilliant senses of humour.

After a friend's child spent the first six months of their life in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), the three of them got together to discuss how they can highlight and raise funds for the good work the charity Friends of PICU does.

What would get people engaged? Why not race across the Atlantic Ocean in the World's Toughest Row? So, it was decided they would compete in the Challenge in December2027.

Rowing across the Atlantic will test their friendship and push them outside their comfort zone like nothing has done before.
